It's June, which means 2017 is already half way over! So crazy, time really flies. Anyways, I usually like to look back on my goals that I wrote down on Dec. 31st of 2016 for my upcoming yearly goals. I will write down a minimum of five goals for my year which is a great way to hold myself accountable to complete them. So I'll share with you what I wrote down for this year:
- Get my Real Estate License
- Pay for my Association fees, and MLS
- Build my credit
- Save $5000
- Get engaged
- Travel to 10 Places
I did 2 goals towards my business/professional area of life, 3 personal goals, and a financial goal. I probably should have done a physical goal, for example: Go to the gym 5x a week, but I ended up focusing more on my career this year. I have actually completed getting my license, paying for my association fees and MLS, I have traveled to Cabo, Tahoe, Disney World, (Florida) Capitola, Yosemite, and I have a few upcoming trips planned as well! I am little under halfway there for my savings plan, and I'm still lagging on building credit and getting engaged lol.

So now what? Well, what I'm doing now is actually breaking down my goals again, here they are:
- Set aside money each month for marketing (minimum $150)
- Build my credit
- Save $2500
- Get engaged
- Travel to 5 places
I think goal setting is so important! When I was in high school I hated goals and I thought they were just pointless, but now that I've matured I feel that they are what actually the stepping stones towards success. It allows me to look ahead and know that everything I'm doing will pay off.
If you aren't a 'goal-setter' I strongly encourage you to become one. If you didn't set yearly goals for 2017, it's ok! Set goals from now to complete before 2017 ends, this will allow you to push yourself more than ever since there are only 6 months left. Even if you only give yourself one goal per month, you'll be able to look back and say, "hey I actually accomplished something that I wanted to!" It's such a great and relieving feeling to have!
If you have any questions about setting goals, or want to learn more about my system for goal setting please feel free to email me or message me, I'd love to share with you my process towards success!
